Anthropologie, Antiquarius, King's Road

This sensitive reconfiguration and restoration of 'Antiquarius', the Grade II listed former Temperance Billiard Hall (c1912) and former Chelsea Garage (c1919) was handed over to American fashion retailer, Anthropologie in October 2009.

The reconfiguration has created a series of dynamic linked spaces together with 2 small shops, offices and a new 2 bedroom apartment.

Planning and Listed Building Consent and Certificate of Lawfulness was granted in April 2009 by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea for the restoration and adaption proposals.

“If you want a glimpse of what is possible with careful visual merchandising, sensitive architectural restoration and a huge amount of creativity, look no further.”
