Galeria Pomorska - Food Court
Colman Architects was appointed to create an extension and refurbishment to the existing food court within the Galeria Pomorska, Bydgoszcz, Poland. The extension increased the food court covers from 212 to 320.
The redesign of the Galeria Pomorska, the largest shopping centre in the city of Bydgoszcz in northern Poland, is the result of a complete 3D asset management review of the 387,500 sq ft retail and leisure scheme.
Working with Balmain Asset Management, Colman Architects has developed a long-term strategic masterplan for the scheme, which includes a major extension as well as an internal reorganisation designed to enhance the performance of the centre by improving circulation and creating new retail space.
The project was completed in November 2011 to coincide with the opening of the KFC restaurant.
