Planning permission was approved unanimously by the Milton Keynes Development Control Committee on 7th January for the redevelopment of Lloyds Court, a designated heritage asset in central Milton Keynes.
The consented scheme provides 121,180 sq./ft (11,258 sq./m) of A1, A2,A3,A4 “Sui generis” and D1 use classes including 5 double height MSUs suited to national retailers and a range of smaller units aimed at local and independent operators, encouraging the return of strong local community facilities to this important location.
Councillor Andrew Geary said: “What an excellent application, the way it’s been dealt with from start to finish is commendable.”
It is anticipated that the works will be complete by Spring 2017.
